1. About this experience
“Subho Utsav with itel” (the “Experience”) is a festive digital engagement activity by itel for Durga Puja. It lets participants upload or capture a photo and receive a personalised AI-generated festive greeting image for Shashthi (“Subho Sharadiya”) or Bijaya Dashami (“Subho Bijaya”). By using the Experience you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Who can participate
- The Experience is intended for itel’s retail partners and their invitees aged 18 years or above, in India.
- Participation is free. No purchase is required.
3. How it works
- Choose a language (Bengali or Assamese), enter your details and upload or take a photo.
- Our AI creates one festive image featuring you, which you can download and share.
- Only one Experience is open at a time (Shashthi, then Bijaya Dashami), as announced on the website.
- Each Experience has a limited number of images (currently 250 for Shashthi and 250 for Bijaya Dashami), available on a first-come, first-served basis. When the limit is reached, the form closes automatically.
- itel may change, pause or end the Experience at any time without prior notice.
4. Your photo
- Upload only a photo of yourself, or a photo you have permission to use. Do not upload photos of minors, celebrities or other people without their consent.
- Do not upload content that is obscene, offensive, hateful, violent, political, or that infringes anyone’s rights.
- Photos that are unclear, contain more than one person or break these rules may not produce an image and may be rejected.
5. Your information and privacy
- We collect only what is needed to run the Experience: your name (and mobile number, if asked), your photo, your chosen language, the date and time, and your device’s IP address (to prevent misuse).
- Your photo is processed by our technology partners and AI service providers solely to create your image. The uploaded photo is not kept on our server after your image is created.
- Your generated image and details are stored securely for the duration of the campaign and may be retained for up to 90 days afterwards for reporting, after which they are deleted.
- We do not sell your information. We never ask for OTPs, passwords, bank or card details.
- Your information is handled in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
6. The AI-generated image
- Images are created automatically by artificial intelligence. They may be stylised or creatively interpreted, and may not exactly match your appearance, the greeting text, the products or the surroundings.
- You may download and share your image for personal and festive greetings, including with your customers, friends and family.
- The itel name, logo and product images shown in the image remain the property of itel. You may not alter them, or use the image to suggest any endorsement, offer or price that itel has not made.
- itel may use anonymised campaign statistics (for example, the number of images created).
7. Cultural respect
The Experience celebrates the cultural and spiritual significance of Durga Puja. Please use and share the images respectfully. The Experience is an independent festive initiative and is not affiliated with any Puja committee, temple or religious organisation.
8. Limitation of liability
The Experience is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, itel and its technology partners are not liable for any interruption, delay, error, unavailability of images once the limit is reached, or for how a participant or any third party uses a generated image.
9. Changes and governing law
itel may update these Terms & Conditions at any time; the version on this page applies. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
